Uniting citizen
action into
collective power

Lever joins up what people do about the issues they care about to create strength in numbers. Change happens when we pull together.

Feel powerless? Like the system isn't working for you?

You're not alone. A third of people don't think democracy is working very well. They don't feel like those in power are listening.

Citizens do care. We do want change. We campaign, organise, protest, sign petitions and write to our MPs.

But so much of our action is scattered, duplicated and quickly forgotten.

Making every action count

Lever brings it all together in one place, aggregating even the smallest action around common goals and issues. It then sends the collective priorities of citizens to MPs, parliamentary committees, councils, utilities, corporations – anywhere their voice needs to be heard.

How it works

Pin it to win it

Lever lets you 'pin' issues and actions to your constituency. That could be supporting a campaign, signing a petition (or starting one on Lever!), even just saying how you feel about something that's important like "Stop polluting my local river with sewage". Lever gathers together all the pinned action relating to a given issue.

Turning up the volume

Lever has a dashboard for each of the UK's 650 parliamentary constituencies enabling every MP to see a real-time snapshot of what's important to the people they represent. Regular highlights are emailed to MPs and to the most relevant parliamentary committees, All Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) as well as to councils and devolved bodies.

Your citizen power

Lever works from neighbourhood to nationwide but it unites citizen activity in your constituency – where you have a vote and your MP is accountable to you. It uses your postcode and email to confirm you're a constituent in the same way services like Parliament Petitions work. It prevents misuses of Lever and allows MPs to focus just on who they are accountable to.

A platform to help you discover and do

Lever helps you find what other people are already doing about the issues you care about – and help them find what you're doing. Connect, collaborate, learn and share successes.

Simple tools make it easy to launch campaigns, start petitions, write to your MP and even pin real-life meet-ups and demos to your constituency.

Regular summaries and alerts keep you up to date with what's happening and what's being done.
